Deeper inner healing is possible with somatic trauma therapy methods

I'm a Somatic Trauma Therapist, Compassionate Inquiry® Certified Practitioner, and a Certified Life Coach helping ambitious, highly sensitive individuals heal their past so that they can experience more joy, inner peace, and freedom in their lives!
I work using somatic & trauma therapy methods such as Somatic Experiencing®, Compassionate Inquiry®, Dynamic Attachment Repatterning, and Somatic Parts Work.
I believe, as Dr. Gabor Mate and Dr Peter Levine say, that “Trauma is not what happened to us, but what happened inside of us as a result of that”.
This means that unresolved trauma, accumulated emotions, and unprocessed stress energy continue to affect our everyday lives (sensations, automatic thoughts, reactions, decisions, life choices) here and now, even if the event happened a long time ago.
This shows up in our reactions when we get triggered; in self-sabotaging behavior (people-pleasing, being unable to say “no,” trying to prove our worth through achievements (perfectionism), postponing our goals and dreams, staying in toxic relationships, difficulties forming safe connections, unhealthy habits, addictions, etc.); in an inability to be “here and now,” and more.
In addition, accumulated, unreleased stress energy (including suppressed emotions) creates various somatic symptoms: anxiety, autonomic nervous system dysregulation, depression, sleep disturbances, chronic pain, skin issues, digestive problems, hormonal issues, autoimmune illnesses, and more.
That’s why healing trauma in a somatic way (at the level of the nervous system) is so essential and transformative. Because these reactions and symptoms are not just in the mind—they are in the nervous system.
Somatic healing helps to uncover your authentic being - a more confident, calm, courageous, and compassionate version of you without needing to push yourself into “being the best version of yourself”!
There’s more inside of you than you think.
You have unconditional worth.
You have deserved unconditional love and acceptance - all parts of you have deserved it.
You were not meant to wear yourself out striving for perfection.
You have goals and dreams that are calling for your action to fulfill them.
You can heal all that which holds you back from thriving in life.
You can uncover more of your authentic being which is characterized by calm, confidence, courage, compassion, connection, and creativity. You uncover those characteristics within you when you heal your past trauma and the defense mechanisms created by it.
It is a gift being a highly sensitive person.
Yes, we take on more than we should emotionally. But we can work with that.
Highly sensitive people can bring tremendous value in this world by being who they are - feeling deeper and sensing more.
And the world needs it! Especially right now!
The world needs compassion, true love, faith, creativity, authenticity, and depth.
